A walk along the path

This place is a simple hobby site about the things I find interesting. I enjoy my hobbies more when I return to them in order to discuss them, so here I am, returning to them and discussing them. The goal is neither to create archival level material nor disposable memories. The goal is to enjoy the cool things I have seen on the road by talking about the cool things I have seen on the road. Call it homeostasis, if you like words that take too long to say. If you need something deeper than "The journey is the destination." I can only suggest you find a river and follow it.

Remaking this website

I have had this website for a long time, but never really did anything with it. I blame a desire to have it be a canonical resource for myself rather than accepting that the nature of the internet is to contain malleable content.

Starting from scratch has long been a recipe for disaster; but in this case it was the very momentum of old methods that was stalling my ability to create anything. Methods designed to save me time merely separated me from simply making stuff.
