The Mantis Warriors
The history of the thrikhren race, how they came to be of so noble of their origins, is not a simple tale. It includes tradegy called as the phaerimm, the monsters of the desert, who were seemingly unbeatable, using puppets to wage war with their extensive mental controlling ablities. Once upon a time, a hero among the thrikhren, Xorlab Kxoh, found the secret to block this control and therefore, control one's own mind of all abominations. The mantis warriors are the cast Xorlab still teaches this, even from afterworld. So great hero he was that all the thrikhren revere and worship him, and wander usually once in their life here, learning the secrets of the mind from the great teacher still living in this tower.

The Thrikhren race
General description:
Thrikhrens are a race of very intelligent largish insectoids. They are
often referred as Mantis' warriors but this is a mistake. Thrikhrens are
inferior to humans in terms of strength and endurance, but when it comes
to their major area of specialty, the mind, they are excellent in both
mental control and discipline of magic. Some of the most proficient
mages and psions are thrikhrens. But this doesn't mean that a thrikhren is
totally helpless when it comes to physical combat; their chitinious shells
and sharp claws allow them some fighting capabilities. In adventuring life
thrikhrens are valued and accepted members of many parties, it's not even
uncommon that they are at high position in the party.

Other features:
They regenerate damage very slowly. They regenerate magic points very fast.
They are superior beings and therefore need more experience points. Arcane
powers are easy for them to master. They adapt well to the most complicated
skills. Even the most difficult arcane powers can be mastered by them. They
are allergic to water. They can see in the dark. They can detect magic on
things. They have a faster than normal heart beat. They have average vision.

Thrikhren don't tend to get thirsty.
Thrikhren get two weak extra attacks. I think they did slashing damage.
Thrikhren Racial Emotions
Thrikhrens have the following racial emotions: antenna, buggy, bzz, crawl, help and watch. They can be used by typing thrikhren <command>. thrikhren antenna You wave your antennae happily. thrikhren buggy You must be the biggest BUG of BatMUD. thrikhren bzz You make some noise. thrikhren crawl You crawl around a little. thrikhren watch You watch your surroundings carefully.
