The Wisps of the Forest
Sprites have been in the world as compatriots with the elves, created by gods to entertain the eternal elves, who felt lonely. Sprites share all with the elves, the mindset, appearance, culture and values, but not size. Sprites were created to be small, not meant to burden to this world. The sprites, now, revere their 'mother', who was the first female sprite created by gods to roam the world.

The Sprite race
General description:
Sprites are small creatures from the fairy world who have moved to the
World of Batmud. There they make their living as scouts, messengers
and even spies. Their small size and weak physical appearance hides
great talent in magic and ever astonishing dextrous abilities. The
flying ability of sprites has been only rumored of and so far the
sightings of a flying sprite have been ended with a dispel magic
spell. This suggests that the wings of the sprites, and their cousins
the cokes, aren't meant for flying.
While the physical power of a sprite is laughable, their tiny fists and
wings can be quite a nuisance to their opponents, especially
to those vulnerable to magic.
Sprites possess a magical gift of reviving the unconscious. This gift
drains them of their magic, and can not be used continuously.

Other features:
They regenerate damage very slowly. They regenerate magic points fast. They
are superior beings and therefore need more experience points. They adapt well
to the most complicated skills. Even the most difficult arcane powers can be
mastered by them. They can fly above water. They can see in the dark. They are
too small to use two handed weapons. They can detect magic on things. They can
see invisible things. They have a faster than normal heart beat. They glow in
the dark. They have good vision.
Other Notes:
Sprites get two wing buffet attacks. These do magical damage of the brawling type. They do not appear to benefit from the brawling skill.
Sprite Racial Emotions
Sprites have the following racial emotions: circle, flap, glow, hum, innocent and revive. They can be used by typing sprite <command>. sprite circle You circle around for a while. sprite flap You flap your wings sprite glow You glow for a short while. sprite hum You hum a spellbinding melody. sprite innocent You smile and look very innocent.
