Merfolk communicate through a variety of different songs when they are beneath the surface. Not just among themself but also with dolphins, whales and other seafolk races. They got many different songs for formal announcements, religious occasions or just normal etiquette. And they get teached in their guild, seasingers. Merfolk are a very religious group. They build beautiful and elaborated temples of worshop. They have several different deitiest of the sea that they worship. The seven sea chorus also teaches the merfolk about how to survive on land and that is vital for all the adventuring merfolks upon batmud.

The Merfolk race
General description:
  Merfolk are the only race that can swim the rough seas of batmud.
  They are generally considered underwater creatures, but they can
  breathe on dry land too. Merfolk aren't too popular as adventurers.
  They are mainly used to entertain male humans.

Intelligence: incredible           Wisdom: incredible
Constitution: adequate             Size: average

Other features:
They regenerate damage very slowly. They regenerate magic points fast. They
are superior beings and therefore need more experience points. They adapt well
to the most complicated skills. Even the most difficult arcane powers can be
mastered by them. They can fly above water. They heal faster when in water.
They get a faster than normal heart beat if their skin is moist. They have
average vision.

Merfolks have the following racial emotions: ddance, dream, ndrink, sad, ssing, tail and water.
They can be used by typing merfolk <command>.

You dream of deep seas far away.

You look like you would need some water.

You fail to look sad and laugh instead.

You sing a spellbinding song.

You flap your fishy tail.

You look for some water to swim in.
