Megami.com is a site dedicated to Anime, books, role playing games, and just about anything else that either stimulates the imagination or wastes time in an amusing manner. The key flaw to devoting a web site to these things should be readily apparent, as with so many diversions occupying my attention I can be sporadic at best with updates. Still, there is a nice road in front of me paved with good intentions. I may as well see where it leads.

I bit the bullet and got an IDE for web design. To the small number of people who actually use what I've already got here as a resource, I MAY actually start real work on this site as a result.

From the hype that surrounds them I tend to suspect corpse flower viewings of being the botanical equivalent of Yoga and the Organic Food section of my local grocery store. Which is to say I do not think the concept is a bad one, however such things draw both slackjawed yokels and opportunists interested in bilking them of their money. Perhaps this is fitting, given the plant's preferred pollinators are carrion insects. Anyway, I let my father talk me into going to see one. After shouldering my way past some yokels ("Like the smell? Har!") I finally got a good look at it, and was surprised to find that it actually looked like a flower. I remember reading about corpse flowers in sixth grade, and thinking they were probably only "flowers" in the most technical sense of the term, kind of like how Taboo is technically a Nintendo Game. Below is a picture my dad took. At the time I was standing about three feet to the right of him, filled with the hope that the charity we'd paid twenty bucks to for five minutes of entertainment was halfway decent.

I've been puttering along for months now, lots of little stuff done, but no particularly huge changes. I did make my rough draft tarmalen reincarnation guide so that it is actually readable, however it's still not finished. I posted a bunch more rough drafts, less in case of the unlikely event anyone would notice than to motivate myself more.

I've been playing a lot of Fate, so I wrote a crummy guide on how to be uber in it, as is my wont.

I added a bucketload of stuff to my batmud logs. I've also started transferring a large number of my text based guide rough drafts to html. My plan is to first pare down my currently bloated rough drafts section before adding more stuff into there however. Currently I'm working on my multiguild guide, as well as general muckwork.

Well, I think I finally made the navigation bar look acceptable in most browsers without resorting to any hacks. My rangers guide is now readable again, and a few paragraphs from coming out of the rough drafts section. I killed this site's background image, since it was really just 22K of dark blue doing nothing.

Slow but steady updates to the Batmud pages have been happening for a long time, I just never bother posting them, which I should probably do. So, aside from several unreadable rough drafts I've put together, my Ships Guide is getting more complete by the day, with much of the useful info on the non-crew related features that can be obtained for ships. I've got a to-do list a mile long. Come to think of it, I really need to make a to-do list. I've gathered most of the info I need for quite a large number of guides, it's just a matter of writing them and ironing out my poor grammar. For that matter, I need to expand the content of this site to include more than just info on a nice but not widely played interactive online game. Plus some of the html formatting I'm using still needs work. All in good time.

Finished a massive upgrade of the Banes Guide. Now includes the two new banes, some revisions, background availibility, and the new bane severity listings.

I've actually been doing plenty of work on this site, but it's been on the forum I'm coding, and thus is largely invisible right now.

The skill and spellcosts for the racial table will now sort in ascending order, which makes more sense, since lower is better. I'm planning on slapping a forum together. Eta on that is sometime in the next millenium.
